Step 4: Submit Your FAFSA
In order to be eligible for financial aid, you must have a FAFSA on file. Make sure you check your Tech email often for notices of awards. You can check your award status and accept scholarships by going to and selecting the "ScholrWeb" quickLink.
If you have questions about your scholarships, email scholarships@tntech.edu.
Step 6: Apply for Housing

» Check out what it really looks like to live on campus!
If you have any questions about living on campus, email reslife@tntech.edu.
Step 7: Review and Track Your Admit Checklist
Once you’ve been admitted, you will want to log in to your application portal to review your personalized next steps for enrollment. Your portal is where you’ll track important deadlines, submit any outstanding documents, and complete required action items before classes start for your admitted term. Your Admit Checklist updates as you move closer to enrolling, with new tasks added when it’s time to complete them. Be sure to check your application portal often so you don’t miss any steps for your first semester.
Step 8: Register for Orientation
Orientation is your next step in the enrollment process, including academic advisement and registering for classes. The Office of New Student & Family Programs has created a variety of orientation programs for new students and their families to help ease your transition to campus. During orientation, you will learn about campus resources, academics, advisement & course registration, and life as a Golden Eagle.
Orientation information for Summer/Fall admits is communicated in March.
Orientation information for Spring admits is communicated in November.
