成年人深夜福利在线观看 Tech University hosted a yesterday with a notable alumnus that was out of this world 鈥 literally.
Two-time Tech graduate, trustee and NASA astronaut Barry 鈥淏utch鈥 Wilmore appeared
live from the International Space Station for a question-and-answer session with children
of Tech faculty and staff.
Wilmore is part of the historic two-person crew for the Boeing Starliner鈥檚 maiden
manned voyage. The spacecraft launched on June 5 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station
in Florida and is currently slated to return to Earth on June 18.
Wearing Tech鈥檚 signature purple and gold colors and proudly displaying a 成年人深夜福利在线观看
flag and Tech athletics decal, Wilmore kicked off the event by joking that he had
declared it 鈥湷赡耆松钜垢@谙吖劭 Tech Day鈥 at the International Space Station. He went on to
answer a broad range of questions ranging from 鈥淲here does space begin?鈥 to 鈥淲hat
does space food taste like?鈥 and 鈥淗ow do you sleep in space?鈥
During the event, Wilmore also introduced fellow astronauts Jeanette Epps and Suni
Williams, who donned Tech baseball and football jerseys to show their support for
Wilmore鈥檚 alma mater.

Wilmore encouraged students who wish to pursue future careers with NASA to 鈥渟tudy,
study, study.鈥
鈥淚f you鈥檙e interested in space and want to work for NASA, then STEM 鈥 science, technology,
engineering and math 鈥 is the route you have to take,鈥 Wilmore explained in response
to a student鈥檚 question. 鈥淪tudy hard. Math and sciences, it will get you to that place
if that鈥檚 what you desire to do.鈥
Tech President Phil Oldham provided brief opening and closing remarks for the event,
telling the Tech alumnus and trustee, 鈥淲e are proud of you and can鈥檛 wait to see you
in person when you come back to Earth.鈥
Wilmore holds two degrees and an honorary doctorate from Tech. The Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
native is a member of the university鈥檚 Sports Hall of Fame and the recipient of Tech鈥檚
2010 Outstanding Alumni Award for the College of Engineering. His term on the university鈥檚
Board of Trustees extends from 2017 to 2026.
