Society for Advancement of Management
The Society for the Advancement of Management is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing management theory and practice through scientific study of organizational principles in business and industry. All students interested in leadership or business management are encouraged to join.
SAM supports members' professional development through guest lectures, fundraisers, social events, and community service opportunities. Each spring, members can attend the SAM International Conference and participate in the case competition.
Alpha Kappa Psi
Alpha Kappa Psi is a national co-ed business fraternity dedicated to providing ethical leadership training and professional development to its members. The fraternity achieves these goals through professional speakers, service projects, and social activities.
All undergraduate and graduate business majors and minors with at least a 2.1 GPA are eligible to pledge. This chapter uses a rush process for membership selection.
College of Business Student Ambassadors
COB Student Ambassadors represent all business majors and serve as the public face of the College of Business. Ambassadors assist at college and university functions, recruit new students through campus visits and correspondence, and promote college spirit at events such as Business Foundations meetings and Homecoming activities.
New Ambassadors are selected each fall semester through an application and interview process.
