Society for the Advancement of Finance and Economics (SAFE)
The Society for the Advancement of Finance and Economics is a professional network dedicated to advancing financial and economic research. SAFE recognizes significant research contributions and creates platforms for idea exchange while promoting the development of financial and economic knowledge.
The society also supports students by connecting them to internship opportunities and providing tutoring services in finance and economics courses.
Omicron Delta Epsilon
Omicron Delta Epsilon is the international honor society for economics students and professionals. Omicron Delta Epsilon recognizes academic excellence and achievements in the field of economics; establishes relationships between students and faculty in economics programs within universities and other academic institutions; publishes the national journal The American Economist, sponsors panels at professional meetings; and hosts research competitions. Economics, finance, and agricultural economics majors may become members of this organization by invitation. Juniors and seniors with a 3.0 QPA in at least twelve semester hours of economics courses are considered for membership.
Research with Faculty
Participating in research with faculty provides an extremely valuable opportunity for student involvement. Summer research grants are available for students to pursue research topics with faculty members and present their completed research at conferences.

Alpha Kappa Psi
Alpha Kappa Psi is a national co-ed business fraternity dedicated to providing ethical leadership training and professional development to its members. The fraternity achieves these goals through professional speakers, service projects, and social activities.
All undergraduate and graduate business majors and minors with at least a 2.1 GPA are eligible to pledge. This chapter uses a rush process for membership selection.
TVA Investment Challenge
The TVA Investment Challenge provides hands-on experience with advanced portfolio management by allowing students to manage an actual investment portfolio for the 成年人深夜福利在线观看 Valley Authority. Acting as professional fund managers, students implement trading strategies, execute trades, and produce performance reports while adhering to industry standards.
The primary objective is to maximize long-term capital growth while managing relevant risk factors and investment restrictions.
Everyone Loves Economics Podcast

Each episode, Economics Honors students research and analyze an economic dilemma personal to their lives. This podcast series is an opportunity for the students to share what they have learned about an economic issue in their chosen field of study with the broader community.
