Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)

The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is a university club that connects students with technology, management, and analytics professionals. Perfect for students pursuing careers in business and information systems, AITP provides valuable industry networking opportunities. While Business and Information Technology students make up the majority of membership, all business students are welcome to join. Please contact Dr. Susan Wells for more information.

Beta Gamma Sigma

Student attends career fair

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, representing national recognition of exceptional academic achievement. BGS members go on to serve in critical leadership roles across corporate, entrepreneurial, government, non-profit, and academic sectors. Membership is by invitation only. New members are inducted each spring semester and recognized at an annual induction ceremony and banquet.

Computer Forensics and Investigations

Computer Forensics and Investigations (DS4125) introduces students to digital forensics through hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art forensic lab. Students develop practical skills by solving real cases using professional forensic methodologies, including steganography, cryptography, password recovery, and digital artifact analysis.

This course is relevant across multiple fields鈥攂usiness, criminal justice, human resources, and computer science鈥攁nd is designed for both technical and non-technical students with basic computer software knowledge (DS2810 or equivalent). Contact Dr. Susan Wells to enroll or learn more.
