Degree Details

The Department of Exercise Science prepares emerging professionals in the fields of fitness, wellness, education, training, rehabilitation therapies, and the health sciences. Our Bachelor of Science degree, with a concentration as a Pre-Physician Assistant, prepares our graduates to successfully pursue the next steps in their professional programs and careers as medical professionals.

Physician Assistants (PAs) carry out many of the same functions as traditional physicians, including examining patients, prescribing medicine, and ordering diagnostic tests. Generally, PAs work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons.
