Ph.D. Hispanic Linguistics, University of Pittsburgh
Dr. Olsen joined the Department of Foreign Languages in the fall of 2018. He earned a B.A. in Spanish and a Masters of Second Language Teaching from Utah State University. He earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include the acquisition of L2 Spanish grammar and vocabulary, the effects of instruction on L2 Spanish grammar, L2 attrition, and foreign language teacher education.
