About
My research focus is Applied Microbiology and One Health, specifically on the development of innovative solutions for infectious disease control. My lab research is built on two complementary pillars: therapeutic innovation and environmental surveillance. Within those areas, my main interests focus on the discovery and development of novel therapeutics and vaccines and the establishment of robust environmental surveillance programs to track the spread and emergence of antimicrobial resistant organisms. By integrating molecular biology, microbiology, and environmental science, my research aims to translate basic research into applied strategies to improve human, animal and environmental health.
